How do I get my order?
Pickup is at my home, north of Sunbury, in Kingston Township.
Delivery is available for weddings and large events, for a variable fee.
What lead time do you need?
My calendar often fills a month ahead. I need one-two weeks for custom designed cakes and cupcakes, in order to get supplies that I don’t keep in stock.
For weddings and large events, I recommend 3-7 months.
When do I need to pay?
After finalizing your order, I will send you an invoice. The due date will be one week before your scheduled pickup (may need adjusted due to holidays).
Weddings and large event orders can be paid in two installments. A non-refundable 50% retainer will be due at booking, and the remainder will be due one week before your event.
Do you have a storefront?
No, I am a cottage bakery, meaning I make all of my goods in my home kitchen. I make all of my goods to order, and arrange pickup times. I meet you on my porch where you can approve the designs before leaving. I will help you get your treats into your vehicle for the safest transportation, so that your treats are as beautiful at home as they were on my porch.
What decorating media do you use?
I decorate almost exclusively with buttercream. I do not decorate with any royal icing, and only add minimal details with fondant or other media.
I have worked very hard at my buttercream smoothing skills, and some people mistake my buttercream for fondant when looking at pictures.
Are you an allergen free baker?
No, I am not. I CAN make treats with gluten free flour, or without eggs, milk, tree nuts, peanuts, etc. However, all goods are produced in my mixed use home kitchen on shared equipment.
My goods should not be consumed by anyone with serious or life threatening allergies to gluten, egg, milk, tree nuts, peanuts, etc.
Why does your calendar fill so fast?
I am a busy homeschooling mom and grandma. The busiest bakery days are weekends, which often interfere with my family plans. I try to keep one weekend open for family time each month.
I am able to fit in an occasional mid-week order, depending on our homeschool schedule.
